Girls Empowered by Mavericks

Brand Identity

As a female athlete, this campaign is a personal favorite of mine – the logo identity system and brand look for Girls Empowered by Mavericks. The GEM acronym represents being molded and shaped by an outside force, in this case, sports. I created the logo family that includes a diamond shape as well as the brand's creative look that uses gradients and fractal patterns you would find within a natural gemstone while keeping the Dallas Mavericks brand color scheme at the core. This organization aims to engage, inspire, and empower young females using physical activity as a backdrop for their continued development and success. Excitingly, the GEM brand recently signed a jersey sponsorship deal with the Dallas WNBA team, The Wings.
